This course introduces the purpose and functionality of Daml triggers. By completing this course you will be able to:

- Understand the purpose of Daml triggers as an off-ledger automation tool useful for building proof-of-concept applications; and
- Write simple triggers and run them against a Daml application deployed on a Sandbox

*Note that this is an elective course meant to introduce a concept and tool that will help you build automation for proof-of-concept applications. Daml triggers are not considered best practice for production solutions, and thus will not be covered in the Contract Developer certification exam.
